WP2 – In-Depth Study on the Soft Skills Gap

 

This work package aims to assess and analyse the soft skills gap among Vocational Education and Training (VET) graduates as they transition into the labour market across the eight participating countries. The research is based on surveys conducted with over 500 participants — including students, teachers and employers — to identify the most critical and underserved competencies.

Practical outcomes include a database of engaged employers, recorded video interviews highlighting labour market needs, and the selection of a group of VET teachers to serve as soft skills «ambassadors». This evidence base will directly inform the design of the curricula and training modules developed in subsequent work packages.
